THE JOB OPPORTUNITY: Accounts Payable Analyst - Surplus Lines WE OFFER THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE THE OPPORTUNITY TO: * Provide support to a dynamic team of professionals * Become proficient in insurance payables WE EXPECT THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE TO: * Answer incoming calls with professionalism and provide knowledgeable answers to branch personnel and insurance authorities * Process and reconcile payments to supplier statements * Be able to work quickly and accurately * Be able to work independently yet function as part of a team * Make recommendations for improvements to accounting processes * Participate in process improvement initiatives and other projects as assigned * Other duties, as assigned Required Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelors degree in Accounting * 2+ years of experience in financial services (preferred) * Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-pace, high volume environment * Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel * Experience in a dispersed organization (preferred) * Excellent written and oral communications skills * Ability & desire to interact collaboratively with Branch and Headquarters management COMPENSATION Competitive compensation and benefits package available to successful candidates.
