Position Description
Western & Southern Agency has an immediate opening for an Agency Interviewer.
I. Summary of Responsibilities Responsible for screening and recommending sales rep candidates based on an established job profile for assigned districts in satellite locations using virtual technology. Position Requirements
II. Position Responsibilities .Coordinates the front end selection process for open Sales Representative positions, including screening, testing, and interviewing high-quality candidates. .Administers and evaluates the results for multiple selection tools. .Conducts behavior based interviews with candidates and evaluate their responses to determine whether or not to recommend candidates to Field Managers. .Meets or exceeds all screening and selection goals.
III. Selection Criteria .Minimum two years successful recruiting and selection experience. .Experience in successfully screening and selecting candidates as part of a high volume recruiting and selection function. Familiar with various performance metrics associate with selection. .Ability to communicate and influence from a distance. .Possesses and displays excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to convey information to internal and external customers in a clear, focused and concise manner. .A knowledge and background working with and interpreting applicable state/federal employment laws, such as Title VII, ADA, FMLA, and FLSA. .Proven experience handling multiple duties and completing assigned tasks accurately and on a timely basis. .Demonstrated experience working effectively within a team. Must provide examples of motivating co-workers in difficult situations. .Demonstrated ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of staff and management. .Process focused, but must be flexible in the ability to respond to changing business needs and environment.
IV. Educational Requirements .Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field required, or equivalent
V. Computer skills and knowledge of hardware & software required .Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, database applications, and applicant tracking systems.
VI. Certifications & licenses (e.g., Series 6 & 63, CPA, etc.) .None required.
VII. Position Demands .Evening and weekend hours required .Extended hours required during peak workloads .Ability to travel as needed .Ability to sit for long periods .Ability to communicate via telephone .Ability to lift and carry 10-15 lbs. Position Attributes
