Job Description
The Hanover Insurance Group is in search of an Associate Actuary for Commercial Lines Pricing in our Worcester, MA office. Core need is in the Commercial Multi Peril (CMP) line of business, including BusinessOwners policies (BOP) as well. Position will provide guidance/mentoring to less experienced staff. May supervise junior staff. Mid to Long term goal of successful candidate should be FCAS with management responsibilities.
Responsibilities: - Development and Implementation of Rates and Rating Plans. - Develop Reports to monitor success of new product, including production and profitability - Position will work closely with Product Management - Position may be resource for analyzing specialty/niche opportunities - May work to manage implementation and tracking of predictive models designed for BOP - Develop reports needed by Management or Underwriting to monitor book - Present project results and recommendations to Underwriting and Actuarial Management - May supervise actuarial staff.
Position Requirements
