Apply for this job: In order to apply for this job please: * Apply for this jobonline * Refer a friend to this job More information about this job: Responsibilities: * Investigate, negotiate, and settle claims within set service standards. * Examine policy coverage forms and other records to determine insurance coverage. * Interview and correspond with insureds, agents, claimants, witnesses, and police. * Establish and monitor reserves to adequately reflect the exposure, and make appropriate changes as files develop. * Serve as a resource for CSRs, Senior CSRs and Tech Specialists, and aid in career development and training by co-adjusting files. * Provide superior customer service for all internal and external customers. * Assist in agency management by providing feedback to Underwriting. * Participate in catastrophe teams, as needed.
Qualifications: Essential: * Experience investigating auto, fire, and theft claims. * Experience determining value, negotiating, and settling total loss claims. * Good keyboard/PC skills. * Understanding of claims laws and coverages. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Topnotch organization and prioritization skills. * Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills. * Superior customer service and team skills. Preferred: * One to three years of auto physical damage estimating experience. * AIC, CPCU, CIC, or ARM designations (or actively pursuing). * Certificate in General Insurance (or actively pursuing). * College degree (or actively pursuing).
