Overall Responsibility:
Provides support to business partners through requirements gathering, development, and implementation of software systems.
Determines client and organizational needs, system and operations requirements, legal compliance obligations.
Works with vendor system tool sets to support company specific requirements.
Partners with software vendors to provide technical reviews of designs to insure business requirements are met, clarifies and escalate issue gaps through change control process, contribute to the development of test plans and conversion plans to support customer rollouts.
Key Accountabilities:
Works with business units to understand requirements for Insurance based software products.
Applies software application/industry knowledge to develop business functional requirements and prepare or review design specifications.
Performs quality assurance checks of software.
Assists with implementation of software including; development of Insurance forms and related documents in the print processing software, development of rules for use of forms within the policy processing applications and providing user training on use of the system.
Following standard practices and procedures, works with tool sets designed to customize insurance processing applications.
Effectively leads other Business Analysts in completing a project.
Some travel required (25%).
Required Experience:
Requirements:
3 ? 5 Years of Property/Casualty Insurance experience required, preferably in claims.
1 ? 2 Years of Business Analyst experience required.
Strong understanding of commercial insurance underwriting
