C++ / Java Developer
The C++/Java Developer Dynamic Infrastructure/Back Office team is looking for a versatile application software engineer. This software engineer should be capable of not only developing new functionality, but also debugging, diagnosing, and addressing problems in mission critical production systems. We are looking for a bright problem solver who is willing to adapt to different technologies and challenges driven by project specific concerns. A candidate’s intelligence and abilities are more critical than specific line items on a resume. Candidates should have a solid background in two of the following: C++ on UNIX (STL expertise required), CoreJava with Swing, or .Net and COM Development focused on Microsoft Office Products. Preference will be given to developers who have broader skill sets. We use several different platforms and technologies. Prior experience with any of the following would be a plus: CORBA (Java or UNIX), Web Services, Spring. Some prior experience with shell-scripting and SQL would be useful.
