* Direct and manage pre-litigation and litigated bodily injury and property damage claims throughout the United States * Handle cases with large litigation and losses total indemnity reserves * Communicate frequently with insured company representatives regarding claim, while delivering superior customer service * Communicate with and direct defense counsel on all aspects of the claim and litigation * Analyze and determine coverage * Evaluate, strategize, reserve and settle claims * Document claim file in complete detail * Attend weekly departmental meetings Required Skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication * Excellent negotiation skills * Working knowledge of PC's * Must be detail-oriented and practice good organizational skills * Self-motivated and task-oriented Required Experience
* 5+ years of experience in litigation claims handling * AIC or CPCU designation preferred * GPA of 3.0 (or a 'B' average) is required from the highest level of education completed
