Description
Accurate and timely processing of incoming claims (within 45 working days after receipt). Resolution of member and provider claims payment disputes as required by regulatory agencies and departmental policies and practices. Appropriate routing of claims/documents to appropriate plan partners and other departments. Performance requirements for Claims Examiners to meet regulatory compliance. Ensure that reports are accurate and generated within specified time frames.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION / TRAINING: Required: High School Diploma /Preferred: AA Degree EXPERIENCE: Required: 2 years claims examining experience Preferred: Medi-Cal claims experience
