Claims Representative
Volt Workforce Solutions offers full-service staffing and talent management consulting to help local, regional, national, and international companies. Through niche recruiting expertise and project management, VWS delivers solutions in Administrative, Call Center, Technical and Manufacturing. Our client is currently looking for an experienced Claims Representative to join their team.
Process Accident product claims; run computer claims report and calculate payable benefits; correspond with claimant and/or physicians for information regarding claim; review and prepare claims for processing; maintain claims information in a database.
Correspond with customers for resolution of their concerns through outgoing calls or written correspondence.
Open and distribute department mail.
Research month end reports.
Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies.
Maintain complete confidentiality of company business.
Maintain communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED.
2-3 years of policy service, claims, or customer service experience in the insurance industry.
Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
Experience operating standard office equipment.
PC skills to include Word and Excel.
