We are seeking aClient Managerin our Risk Management group.
Specific Responsibilities:
CLIENT/ INSURER - Relationship Management * Seek and build strong relationships at executive and operational levels and communicate the client's strategy across Marsh resources * Act as an ambassador for Marsh with client/insurer executives * Responsible for the direction and management of Marsh's relationship with assigned clients and insurers * Manage the communication between the client, insurer and service team members * Understand client business issues, needs and expectations * Understand and manage insurer's expectations
CLIENT - Client Service * Agree and implement client service agreement/letter of understanding/engagement * Prepare Strategy Plans as appropriate to identify client risks and needs * Provide leadership by example of the proactive and enthusiastic service levels expected from client service teams * Act as a referral point for the resolution of complex client queries internally and externally * Host client and insurer meetings in conjunction with specialist broker and client service team * Agree and set renewal client service and rolling risk management strategy with the client * Responsibility for the co-ordination and execution of Placement for each client as assigned * Assist clients with contractual indemnity and insurance reviews * Interact with third party providers to clients as required * Lead and sign off programme design activities * Lead new business initiatives and defensives including referral generation * Interaction with overseas/ Marsh brokers PROCESS - Procedures/Compliance * Ensure operational procedures followed * Produce stewardship report if required * Maintain time recording individually and ensure team compliance * Ensure New and Expanded business is reported in Sales Funnel
FINANCIAL - Account Profitability * Produce budget proposals and negotiate fees in line with account profitability/value proposition * Negotiate fees with the client
OTHER REQUIREMENTS * Assist with the personal development of team working on client * Demonstrate an understanding of the client's industry sector. * Undertake specified tasks as directed by your manager adhering to agreed timescales * Responsible for a portfolio of predominantly large and complex client business units in varying industry sectors (main focus on operational, development, investment, captive, risk management) * Creating opportunities for new business * Ambassador for Marsh, evidenced by hosting events * Develop strong personal relationships with clients and the insurance/reinsurance market * Identify the client's risk management, risk financing and insurance needs and objectives * Coach and mentor team members * Network with the various divisions within Marsh and external business networks to provide client service solutions * Work with the various divisions within Marsh to ensure wide knowledge of resources in MMC. Identify and take forward expanded sale opportunities * Work within Marsh Compliance and Marsh specific procedures and guidelines * Work with existing and prospective insurers and reinsurers to achieve optimal insurance and/or reinsurance solutions for clients * Serve as a technical reference point * Work with clients for non insurance risk transfer including, but not limited to, contractual risk transfer * Strive to deliver best practice, market leading service and solutions * Good knowledge of Microsoft Office/other PC based applications * Knowledge of and experience with various sales techniques * Competitive, goal-driven attitude * Excellent interpersonal skills * Strong negotiation skills * Technical insurance knowledge * Experience in negotiating with insurers and reinsurers * Experience of contractual indemnity and insurance reviews * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines * Excellent follow-up and organizational skills * Must be a team player * Bachelor's Degree in Business plus Insurance qualification ACII, ACIII is preferred * 10-15 years experience in Insurance field * Arabic is a plus
