The Director, Product Management, is responsible for defining, enhancing, developing, and deploying Asurion's digital product strategies through key channels. The individual will have cradle-to-grave responsibilities for their product line, working with cross functional teams to achieve business success. Business success is defined in terms of consumer and carrier adoption, market share penetration, customer satisfaction and P&L.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Product Management

· Manage product financial performance (P&L); define end-to-end customer experience specifications, and management of product lifecycle.
· Ability to identify and critically evaluate new product enhancement opportunities through insights from customer or consumers.
· Evaluate competitive landscape and determine ways to optimally position product.
· Work with sales and distribution to ensure channel performance and planning.
· Demonstrate the interpersonal skills to interface well with all other disciplines of the business at a managerial level as well as a front line team level.
· Have a technological acumen that allows for a complete understanding of the fundamental technologies driving the competitive landscape, and how to leverage technology and
systems to gain clear market advantages.
· Recommends and develops performance metrics and regularly reviews with the client.

Relationship Management

· Collaborate with the broader Asurion Client Services team for assigned account to maintain a coordinated account strategy.
· Develop and maintain strong cross functional partnerships with internal Asurion suppliers to ensure effective and consistent client service, and delivery of projects on the
client's roadmap.
· Set and manage client program performance expectations. Continually enhance client and subscriber satisfaction and perceptions. Ensure performance standards are set and
exceeded.
· Provides support for executive escalation for any contract performance issue for the appropriate client team.
· Responsible for managing requested addendums, exceptions, or extensions as it relates to the client contract.

Program Management

· Drive the development and execution of specific strategic and tactical client programs to enhance customer satisfaction and create long term value for the client.
· Develop, prioritize and manage short and long term program and client initiatives for one or more operational areas.
· Propose and implement program modifications or enhancements based on performance analysis and provide insights regarding tradeoffs.
· Deliver subject matter expertise on the client organization and initiatives and serve as a client advocate within Asurion operations. Provides feedback to internal functions to
foster continuous improvement and improve on key program elements.

Collaboration

· Develop strong working relationships with a variety of key support functions.

· Strong communication/presentation skills and executive presence - ability to present
· Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
· Eight or more years in client account management or related operational experience.
· Ability to present highly complex results and requirements at senior client levels, as well as internally at regular Operations meetings
· Ability to drive and appropriately prioritize client requirements
· Strong client relationship management skills
· Solid understanding in one or more of Asurion's operational business functions, including Care, Supply Chain, Program Management, Finance, Marketing and IT
· Strong business acumen and financial skills
· Strong analytical skills and ability to manage large scale projects/programs
· Strong collaboration and cross functional partnership skills; ability to influence internal colleagues from all business functions
· Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written skills
· Advanced computer skills including MS Office required.

Licensing:
This position may require that you hold a valid insurance license. Failure to pass the insurance license exam or an inability to obtain or maintain the required license(s) will result in forfeiture of the position.

If you are not currently licensed, but have taken and failed the insurance licensing exam or have otherwise been unable to complete the licensing application processyou will not be considered for this position.
