Responsibilities:
* Establish, develop and maintain senior management and executive-level contact with executives at client firms. Build rapport through consultative selling and creative relationship building. * Develop and implement effective tactical and strategic business plans designed to deliver differentiated value to clients and drive revenue for Verisk Health. * Understand and stay up-to-date on client’s industry, business situation, business strategy and financial goals and how Verisk Health solutions can solve client business issues. Participate in clients strategic planning/decision making. * Combine an in-depth knowledge of Verisk Health business, products and services with a clear understanding of industry trends to develop differentiated solutions for the client and maximize and grow client relationships. * Create opportunities to involve other Verisk Health personnel to interact with the account including executive, clinical operations/consulting, technical and other functions in VH. Encouraging others to interact with customers. Providing status information internally. Facilitating rather than controlling others’ involvement with customer. * Generate sales pipeline in accordance with adopted sales process within Verisk Health and transition new business opportunities with existing clients to Sales. Partner with Sales to close business. Accurately forecast expected sales and revenue in appropriate sales tools. Lead renewal process for assigned accounts including negotiation and close of renewal contracts. * Ensure action and responsiveness for the client by taking responsibility for the experience the customer has with Verisk Health, mobilizing Verisk Health to respond to customer problems and opportunities, orchestrating customer experiences to register on key decision-makers’ “radar screen”, and being the “Voice-of-the-customer” within Verisk Health. * Manage contract renewals in a proactive and timely manner to maximize revenue and TCV for assigned accounts. * Drive "referencability" in the customer base - ensuring that each customer is willing/able to support sales processes through on-site or telephonic references. Identifies opportunities for customer success stories, presentations, and PR, as appropriate.
* Completes all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan.
* Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned. * Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree is required, Masters preferred. * A minimum of 10 years of successful large employer client management and business development experience. * A minimum of 8 years of health benefits planning and strategy experience with a benefits consultant/broker, data analytics firm or and/or as a benefits/HR professional. * Keen understanding of the role data plays in managing the health and productivity of employees and experience in assisting employer client benefit/HR/finance team in turning data from Verisk solutions into action. * Single point of contact for client relations and ultimately responsible for client satisfaction. * Demonstrated experience establishing and growing large, complex clients dealing with a broad range of services at the senior level of the organization. * Proven ability to handle stressful situations, multiple tasks, and deadline pressures. * Superior client relationship/account management skills and ability to be viewed as a trusted advisor. * Ability to think strategically and to understand clients underlying business needs and align Verisk Health products and integrated solutions. * Strong problem solving skills with the demonstrated ability to research and make decisions based on the day-to-day and complex customer/prospect problems. * Outstanding presentation skills. Proven success in preparing and delivering presentations that convey information critical to the audience and adjusting to meet changing audience needs. * Strong teamwork orientation; understands that clients best interests are served through smooth, seamless service delivery. * Willingness/availability to travel 40% is required.
