Front End / HTML Developer
is seeking to add a Front End Developer to join our Application Development team. This role requires the ability to assist in the design and implementation of web-based (traditional and mobile) applications. You will work almost exclusively in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and leveraging libraries such as jQuery and jQuery mobile. As a member of our team, you’ll help to define our web standards while developing rich, dynamic user-centric features. As a proponent of web standards you’ll help us get the most out of HTML, improving the speed of content delivery by helping us engineer our Next Generation presentation layer. You will use css & js lint often and you’ll leverage every opportunity to spritify our icons.
Requirements:
This position requires a B.A. or B.S. degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science or equivalent job experience. The successful candidate will have the following technical skills:
Thorough understanding of CSS and the box model
2 - 4 years working with HTML (hand coding)
1 – 2 years experience with jQuery or similar JavaScript library
1+ years experience with Fiddler, ySlow, Firebug/Firecookie, or other front end debugging tools
Experience with Hg, svn, or other scm
Working knowledge of dynamic stylesheets such as less or similar
Working knowledge of JSON/JSONP and leveraging data client side
The Application Layer is developed in MVC3 / Razor. Knowledge of Razor and familiarity with Visual Studio 2010 is a plus.
