Description
This position provides sales support, training and education to our sales force across the country. The Internal Sales Associate (ISA) will be responsible to help our sales force understand and customize our life insurance/annuity products to best meet customer needs. The person in this role will be expected to use phone skills and people skills to build relationships with our sales people and help them increase their sales of the life insurance and annuity products offered by the companies of National Life Group. The ISC will also be expected to become proficient in both large and small group presentation skills. They are expected to develop these presentation skills to the point where they will be able to present both products and concepts at a high level to our sales force. This person will also be expected to gain comprehensive knowledge of insurance and annuity products, sales tools, distribution channels, and current industry marketing trends.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide sales & Marketing support for a RVP * Proficient in the ICS Life Insurance illustration system and/or Annuity illustration system * Proficient in phone sales skills * Present presentations to agents via webex, field travel or Home Office visits * Awareness of HO contracting, underwriting & Marketing * Expected to have impact on new product and marketing strategies, development of sales plans and be responsible for helping hit our sales goals * Travel when necessary for training and relationship building * Perform other duties as required Requirements
* Bachelor's degree * 1-2 years experience * Industry preferred designations (CLU, ChFC, CFP) * Prior knowledge of client management systems (prefer ) * Extensive sales experience and knowledge of both independent distribution and career agency * Superior written and oral communication skills required * The ability and desire to work in a challenging fast paced environment * Up to 10% travel required
