ISSM - Information Systems Security Manager
We are actively seeking a highly motivated individual to become a part of our dynamic team as a Facility Security Officer (FSO). This position will be located in our Baltimore, MD facility, and is directly responsible for creating, maintaining and overseeing the security program in accordance with applicable requirements of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and other government security regulations as they relate to classified information systems, classified materials, personnel clearances and physical security. The FSO is accountable for ensuring compliance with the Company’s Special Security Agreement (SSA), security education programs, and compliance with government ITAR and export regulations, including managing contract DD254s, special programs and subcontractor security requirements
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
1. Develop and implement training programs in Security subject matter areas related, but not limited to, SSA; Industrial Security; Information Systems Security; Communications Security; Foreign Ownership Control or Influence (FOCI); and other security-related areas.
2. Develop, implement, and maintain security-related policies and objectives; develop and implement projects and programs to assist in the accomplishment of established goals.
3. Conduct and effectively document internal Security investigations with regard to Security violations/infractions, criminal, disciplinary and other matters as appropriate, to include specifying corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
4. Plan and provide asset protection, access control, video surveillance, business continuity, workplace violence prevention, employee education and awareness.
5. Serve as liaison with Defense Security Service (DSS), local law enforcement and public safety agencies.

Qualified candidates will have:
• Bachelors Degree in relevant field. Plus experience/knowledge of Industry Security pracitices in a manufacturing environment.
• DSS ISSM Certification a plus
• Experience in a networked environment using a Windows interface.
•Working knowledge of NISPOM. Preferred to have NISPOM Chapter 8 experience, and expertise in NISPOM requirements for stand-alone Automated Information Systems and related INFOSEC requirements.
•Ability to communicate effectively with customers and/or employees at all levels of the organization.
•Must be a U.S Citizen
•Active government-issued Security clearance to the Secret level.
•Ability to obtain Facility Security Officer (FSO) Certification.
