Your role would be to provide technically competent loss prevention services in accordance with policies and procedures and to provide support services to help acquire and retain profitable business in accordance with company objectives.  The person hired for this position will work from their home and will be required to travel frequently, including some overnight travel.  

Job responsibilities include:

• Surveys and services commercial/industrial risks of any size and/or completely for all lines of coverage.

• Review of safety procedures, liability exposures, fleet safety, employee education, ergonomic evaluations, safety training, etc. with clients

• Accomplishes risk improvement by providing management consultation services, developing recommendations for hazard control, and providing direct support services to the insured.

• Provide value –added customer service to insureds, agents, and company personnel

• Participated with account executives in performing risk management assessments for client and prospects

• Facilitate communication of technical information between producers, underwriters, loss control specialists and clients

• Coordinate insurance company loss control services for clients

• Maintains good communications at all times

• Work on special projects as assigned by management

• 3-10 years’ experience in loss control consulting with a P&C broker or carrier

• Degree is required and designations are strongly preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Valid Texas Driver's license and acceptable driving record

• Good oral and written communications skills
