The position consists inplanning and managing operational activities and resources for the Montreal Eligibility Management Regional Teamin order to support the Group Insurance Business plan and initiatives. The incumbent in the Montreal position will bear responsibility on a national level for corporate or line of business projects and initiatives. The Business outcome of this Team has a direct impact on the client retention target by providing quality and timely services related to the post-sales maintenance activities on member eligibility records. These activities include reviewing electronic download reports and system updates such as addition, terminations, changes, as well as administrative functions associated with medical evidence of insurability files. These functions contribute to customer satisfaction. * Conduct management activities that will contribute to individual and organizational performance and employee engagement. * Ensure business objectives and performance reviews are communicated, while overseeing the proper elaboration, documentation and deployment of an action plan in response to mobilization survey. * Plan and manage operational activities and resources effectively to ensure Service Level Agreements are constantly met and exceeded. * Ensure the team performance indicators, such as productivity, staffing and turnaround time results, as well as any other performance indicators required to manage the team activities, are measured in a timely manner and reviewed on a regular basis. * Demonstrate effective Leadership and Management Practices aligned with the What Matters Most organizational Management aspiration model. * Budget and control expenses and monitor cost centre forecasts. * Promote team spirit, recognition and a positive attitude focussed on customer service and Total Customer Satisfaction (TCS). Requirements: * University degree in business administration, in health or a combination of related studies and experience. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of group insurance, a minimum of 3 years of which have been in a functional leadership role. * Demonstrate team leadership skills, as well as experience as an agent of change and mobilization. * Ability to improve work methods, with the aim of increasing customer satisfaction, optimizing operations’ productivity and cost-efficiency. * Skillful communicator with regards to development (coaching) and training. * Skilled in oral and written communication. * Capacity to analyze and to resolve problems in the face of uncertainty. * Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite. * Bilingual, English and French, written and spoken.
