GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
This position is responsible for maintaining on-going support of Oracle MRP, Financials and Quality applications, and application support for new Oracle related projects. Additionally, this position works closely with business users of the system to ensure business processes are optimized through configuration of the appropriate Oracle module and integrated applications.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- Must have good Understanding of Oracle’s AOL/System administration modules in conjunction with Oracle version 11i applications - Concurrent programs/Managers.
- Must be technically proficient with table-level knowledge of Oracle application / modules as well as basic process and data flow.
- Must be proficient in developing and maintaining application interface programs and customizations using shell scripting, PL/SQL, Oracle reports, Oracle forms, API’s, Experience with workflow, XML Publisher, Oracle Applications Framework (OAF) and editors like Toad/SQL Developer is a plus
- Experience with Oracle 7, 8 and 9i is a plus
- Must be proficient in trouble shooting production issues, performance tuning and provide technical support for existing Oracle 11i MRP, Financial and Quality Application Modules.
- Must have good knowledge of Oracle’s AIM methodology and adhere to development standards, processes and best practices.
- Combination of Technical (40%) and Functional (60%) is desired.
Other Work to be Performed:
- Follow routine channels for reporting and knowledge sharing.
- May perform other tasks as needed.
WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT):
- General office environment.
- Some travel required approx 30 – 40%.

DESIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS (minimal requirements):
Education: College degree in technical engineering or related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
Experience: 5 – 7 years core technical working experience with Oracle MRP applications including version 11.5.10 (strong development and applications knowledge).
Technical Knowledge: Financial modules such as WIP, BOM, INV, MRP, AP, AR, GL, etc.
