Personal Lines Supervisor
LoVullo Associates, Inc., an innovative, well-established, leading distributor of specialty excess and surplus insurance products and services throughout the Northeastern United States, is looking for a Personal Lines Supervisor to work with a first-class team of insurance producers.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Managing the in-house, day-to-day underwriting activities in the Personal Lines Department
Develop and monitor production goals and department standards
Develop pricing strategies while balancing Company objectives and customer expectations
Identify, develop, and evaluate effective marketing strategies
Development of Personal Lines web and internet strategies
Coordinate company visits with brokers and agents to tour the facility and meet team members servicing their accounts
To be considered, candidates must have 5-10 years of progressive Personal Lines experience and significant supervisory/management experience. A NYS brokers license is required and a Bachelors degree in a related field is preferred. Candidates should be self motivated individuals who set and achieve high standards, and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment. Successful individuals must be detail oriented, exercise strong leadership skills, and be able to demonstrate a strong work ethic. Candidates should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, exceptional organizational skills, and very strong computer/technological skills.
