Project - Senior User Experience (UX) Designer (Sports Media/Graphics/Web/IT)The Technology Exploratory Solutions Team (TEST) serves to explore, develop, and validate technology solutions that enable business capabilities across a broad spectrum of application. Working in concert with internal and externals subject matter experts, TEST engages in I/T problem solving with the goal of bootstrapping ideas nascent in consideration for development. As a member of "TEST, the UX designer collaborates with team members to produce engaging early stage user experiences that convey the best perception of the solution at that time. This role requires a unique mix of artistic design skills, the application of user centric design practices, and strong frontend development skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
This is a project position with an estimated length of almost 2.5 years.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with solution manager and process owners to frame ideas, concepts, and problems.
Conceptualize, plan, design, and document user experiences and functionality.
Develop UX vision, strategy, design workflow and roadmap across variety of technology solutions, with a focus on user interaction.
Design interfaces and interaction models for solutions and services across native clients, mobile, and web platforms.
Develop and maintain UX artifacts to include; preliminary design ideas, storyboards, personas, wireframes, task analysis, and alike.
Assist team in achieving optimal user experience outcomes under high velocity development conditions.
Conduct user research and usability testing to validate concepts/designs. Research and remain current on latest trends in UX thinking and design.
Serve as an advocate for user interaction and amazement.
Basic Qualifications
5 or more years of consistent experience working as an UX Designer, Interactive Designer, or equivalent role.
Strong understanding of design process, user interface and information architecture.
Solid standards-based HTML, CSS, and JavaScript knowledge.
Proficient in design tools for prototyping and documenting functionality. Proven leadership skills.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Team-oriented, energetic, and innovative.
Ability to present written and/or verbal communication to team and stakeholders.
Required Education
Bachelor's degree or higher in Fine Arts or Graphic Design or equivalent professional experience
