Replacement Technician
Summary
The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure that all replacement paperwork is processed in a timely and accurate fashion, in order to expedite payment of policy premium and commissions to the agent. This position handles the processing of replacement paperwork for other company's inforce policies that are being exchanged, or transferred to National Life and Life Insurance Company of the Southwest, as well as other internal exchanges.
Key Responsibilities
*
Receive replacement paperwork related to new business from field associates and other business units; verify that paperwork is complete and accurate; request additional information or documents from the field as necessary
*
Prepare cover letters and send original paperwork to company whose policy is being replaced; input all case and replacement details in CT1035 tracking system
*
Follow up within specific timeframes on outstanding funds from other companies; maintain history of follow up activity on system
*
Complete processing of funds to new case when received
*
Calculate and determine appropriate replacement percentage for commissions
*
Monitor commission payouts on internal replacements for accuracy
Requirements
* Qualified candidates will have 1-2 years of financial services experience, preferably Life and Annuity, in a home office or field office setting
* High School Diploma
* Must have an intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); mainframe processing, and ability to utilize dual monitors
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
* LOMA courses or related life insurance experience/training preferred
* Ability to meet established deadlines; must be able to work independently as well as being a team player
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; strong interpersonal skills a must
* Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
* Must be able to pass a background check
