Job Description: Symetra is actively recruiting for a Sales Desk Associate to join our Symetra Investment Services team.
In this position you will focus on proactive sales and marketing of investment products, programs and concepts to Symetra Investment Services registered representatives, via telephone, including day to day communications with key representatives to promote the development of new business, training representatives on software and products and the development and maintenance of key relationships. The Sales Desk Associate is responsible for providing timely, consistent, solution based service as a Home Office contact for sales assistance and illustration fulfillment in an effort to build relationships and to facilitate sales. You will partner with field personnel to strategize and grow their respective territories to meet established production goals. Duties and Responsibilities: · Provide sales and marketing support to registered representatives via telephone. May involve, product training and comparisons, running asset allocation models and financial planning illustrations, assisting with client presentations and providing sales literature. · Provide research on products and systems to enhance representatives’ ability to generate and place business. · Assist sales and marketing staff and Regional Managers to form departmental initiatives and develop sales strategies for registered representatives.
Requirements: · Series 7, 63, 65 licenses required · Insurance Life and Disability licenses · Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred · Minimum two years experience required in financial services industry with investment products · Demonstrated sales and marketing ability · Ability to establish objectives and meet sales goals · Strong PC skills, including ability to load and navigate financial illustration software · Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet specific marketing objectives · Strong relationship building and management skills
