SharePoint 2007 Developer / C# / ASP.NET
Our client is seeking a software .NET / SharePoint Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for a mix of C# and SharePoint development. This Developer will collaborate with outside consultants to build a foundation in SharePoint development. The position will also be responsible for in-house, custom .NET applications (C# and SQL Server) as necessary. Responsibilities: * Maintenance and support of existing SharePoint portals and sites* Leverage and extend 'out of the box' SharePoint functionality to deliver solutions; performing hands-on development of custom applications / Web parts, and design of InfoPath Forms to support complex workflows by designing, customizing, and creating new templates* Management of change via an established change management process including the definition and documentation of test cases for effective testing of new components* Coordinate all efforts with the Business Analyst Team lending expertise in SharePoint best practices and bridging the gap between business and technical functionality* Adhere to departmental and company-wide standards and procedures while performing workQualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline. The following skills, knowledge, and experience are also required for this position unless noted otherwise: * 3-5 years of experience developing applications using MS SQL Server, , and C#* 3 years of experience which should be focused on the analysis, administration, development, implementation, and support of large, complex, and enterprise-level solutions* In-depth hands-on programming experience with the .NET Framework (C#, ), HTML, JavaScript (and variants), AJAX, and XML / XSL / XSD* Basic knowledge of SharePoint (MOSS 2007 and 2010 required)* Basic knowledge of SharePoint Server-side Object Model and SharePoint Web Services* Current Desktop and Server Windows operating environments* Proficient with SQL Server (T-SQL, Stored Procedures, functions, and views)* Ability to interact and communicate effectively with business users and quickly determine user requirements and associated business rules; thereby facilitating rapid development of business applications* Knowledge of Logistics concepts is a plus* Knowledge of SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS is a plus
