The Sr. Director, Customer Care will fill a key role within the Customer Care organization. The Customer Care organization is responsible for delivering on Asurion's customer service strategy across Asurion's 60M customers. This position will have primary responsibility for the critical financial analysis, oversight and partnership with the operational leaders for the Customer Care line of business, to assist in making business decisions based on fact based financial data. The ideal candidate will have exceptional financial competence, strong business acumen, critical thinking proficiency and strong communication skills. The candidate must be customer centric and be able to balance the demands of a rapidly growing, complex entrepreneurial environment where ingenuity rather than precedent drive how things should be done.

The successful candidate's responsibilities will include:

* Provide strategic financial leadership to the business on operational processes;
* Conduct in depth analysis on strategic functional projects; working with business partners seek business and accounting solutions to complex issues;
* Provide continuous process improvement leadership to the business;
* Develops, analyzes, and interprets statistical and accounting information in order to evaluate operating results in terms of profitability and performance;
* Present complex financial topics in easy to understand business language;
* Build creative financial models without constraint of current systems;
* Monitor effective financial internal controls;
* Evaluate the established policies and procedures and modify as necessary; and
* Assist in developing short and long term goals and objectives, including cost saving initiatives.
* Lead and develop the care finance team

Asurion is looking to hire an extremely talented individual to fulfill the position of Sr. Director, Customer Care. The ideal candidate will have:

* A proven track record of academic and professional excellence;
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance, MBA or advanced degree viewed favorably;
* 8 - 12 years experience in a high growth or transformational environment;
* Strong communication and presentation skills;
* Hands-on leadership style;
* Strong data mining and financial analysis experience;
* Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint;
* The ability to consult and advise operating and corporate leaders on a range of issues related to accounting, financial reporting, and strategic opportunities;
* Call center industry experience preferred, but not required; and
* Previous consulting firm experience preferred, but not required.
* A self directed individual with a strong ability to manage ambiguity and who adapts readily and easily to changes in priorities and business conditions;
* An individual who is self confident, competent, outgoing, and independent with a straight forward personality;
* Comfortable working with very sensitive data and able to maintain a high degree of discretion;
* Fits well in an environment that rewards bright, self-starting, energetic, and action-orientated managers with increasing responsibility and challenge;
* Professional and personal integrity beyond reproach; and
* Able to work flexible hours as needed during peak times.
