Responsibilities:
* Directly manage a team of Customer Service Specialists (CSSs).
* Establish measurable performance goals and hold associates accountable for results.
* Foster and maintain an effective and positive team environment.
* Create and document standardized procedures for all CSSs.
* Handle and resolve staff and technical problems quickly and effectively.
* Lead Commercial Lines process improvement by identifying performance and efficiency issues, researching the issues, and providing solid resolutions.
* Identify training opportunities and provide a means for the training.
* Maintain strong communication with the Commercial Lines Department and other CSS teams.
* Complete special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
* Superior written and verbal communication skills.
* Leadership ability with a focus on integrity and fairness.
* Ability to be a change-agent.
* Strong organization and prioritization skills.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
* Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
* Coursework in INS series and/or CPCU.
* Three years of Commercial CSS experience.
* Proficient in the use of Excel, Access, and Word programs.
